Chen Zhang is currently a Research Professor at the School of Physics Science and Engineering, Tongji University. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University and his Ph.D. from the University of Toronto, and then conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Toronto, the University of Waterloo, and the Institute for Advanced Study at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. In recent years, his research has focused on the intersection of particle physics, astrophysics, and cosmology. He has published over 25 papers in internationally renowned journals, including 22 as first/corresponding author (co-first/co-corresponding included), three of which appear in the top-tier physics journal Physical Review Letters. His work on up-down quark matter and high-frequency gravitational wave detection has been reported in Science, Nature Astronomy, Phys.org, EurekAlert, and other major science news outlets. He is an invited reviewer for high-impact international journals such as JHEP, PRD, Phys. Lett. B, and Phys. Dark Universe.
