主要从事电磁超材料（Metamaterials）的前沿探索和应用基础研究，在宇称-时间对称超材料、拓扑超材料等方面完成了一系列富有特色的工作。目前共发表SCI论文60多篇，其中第一或通讯作者Phys. Rev. Lett. 3篇，其中2014年发表的第一作者Phys. Rev. Lett.已被他引360余次（截至202407）。获授权发明专利4项（其中第一完成人1项）。曾受Nat. Comm.、APL、OE/OL等近10种杂志邀请审稿，并多次在国际国内会议上做邀请报告。入选2019年上海市青年拔尖人才。主持完成国家自然科学基金委项目3项，上海市自然科学基金项目（探索类）、中国博士后基金、上海市博士后基金各1项。
