Mingming Song

Prof. Mingming Song got his Bachelor’s degree from Zhejiang University in 2006, and his Master’s degree from Tongji University in 2013. He graduated from Tufts University with a PhD degree in Civil Engineering in 2019. Then he worked as Postdoc and Research Assistant Professor at Tufts University from 2019 to 2022. He joined the School of Civil Engineering at Tongji University as Assistant Professor in March 2022. His research interest includes structural health monitoring, digital twining, Bayesian inference, deep learning, and hybrid modeling. He has published 16 SCI-indexed journal papers, including 6 papers on Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing. He served as Session Chair at multiple international conferences. He served as guest editor of Buildings journal and has been supported by Shanghai oversees high-level talent program. He is the member of State Key Laboratory of Disaster Reduction in Civil Engineering, ASCE SHMC committees and Chinese Society for Vibration Engineering. Open master student positions are available.
