Xinshang Niu

Niu Xinshang, a Ph.D. and postdoctoral fellow from the School of Physical Science and Engineering, Tongji University, specializes in research on high-power laser thin film technology. In 2022, he was awarded the "Super Postdoctoral" funding by the Shanghai Municipal Government, and in 2023, funding was granted to him by the "9th Youth Talent Support Program" of the China Association for Science and Technology. One project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Young Scientists, one XX-specific project, and a sub-project within a national key research and development program have been presided over by him. Six SCI-indexed papers, including in Optical Express, and three EI-indexed papers have been published by him. Additionally, nine invention patents have been applied for/granted to him. He was placed 7th in the 9th "Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Optical Engineering Society" and 5th in the 10th edition of the same award. His relevant research achievements contributed to the winning of the "Black Technology" Innovation Award at the 2023 Red Light Awards.
