林莹，福建漳州人。北京大学中文系学士、博士，华东师范大学中国语言文学博士后科研流动站出站。曾访问香港中文大学、美国哥伦比亚大学。现为同济大学中文系助理教授、硕士生导师，研究兴趣为古代小说、域外汉学、数字人文等。
