Our research group primarily focuses on topological photonics, topological band theory, non-Hermitian physics, micro - and nano - optics, etc. I have conducted postdoctoral research at the School of Physics and Astronomy, University of Birmingham in the UK, and the Department of Physics, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Subsequently, I was promoted to Research Assistant Professor at HKUST. At the end of 2024, I joined Tongji University.
I am mainly specialized in theoretical research, analyzing the topological properties in energy spectra, and predicting novel physical effects in topologically non - trivial structures. I am adept at applying mathematical theories such as group theory and differential geometry to physics. Meanwhile, I can combine the fundamental theories in high - energy physics and particle physics with energy spectrum theory, thereby proposing novel physical concepts.
I have published multiple papers as the first author or corresponding author in top - tier physics and optics journals such as Science, Nature Physics, Physical Review Letters, and Light: Science & Applications. I have also obtained a national - level youth talent project. Students interested in physics research are welcome to join our research group.
