研究领域为固废热化学转化、能源系统动态模拟。主持国家重点研发子课题2项，国家自然科学基金面上项目1项、青年项目1项，上海市科委课题2项。在ES&T等能源环保领域期刊发表多篇论文，授权国家发明专利9项，参编固废热解团体标准2项。入选上海市科技启明星，获环境保护科学技术奖一等奖、华夏建设科学技术奖二等奖、工程建设科学技术进步二等奖。
